About me

Israel Reis Pereira —

I am an Information Systems student and developer in training. I do not study technology just to know how to use tools. I build things to understand how they work.

How I think

Learn by building

My growth happens mainly when I turn knowledge into projects, test ideas, and document what I learn.

Practical building

I use projects to turn studied concepts into concrete development experiences.

Investigation

I try to understand how technologies work before simply adopting them.

Experimentation

I test different approaches to discover what works best in each context.

Documentation

I record decisions, problems, and lessons learned to make my evolution more organized.

Real projects

Each project is an opportunity to learn a technology, solve a problem, or consolidate a concept.

Long-term vision

I aim to build a technical foundation that remains useful as my career evolves.

Data and investigation

I am interested in understanding data, processes, and information as part of building systems.

Incremental evolution

I prefer improving systems in stages, learning from each version instead of trying to solve everything at once.

Infrastructure

I have a growing interest in infrastructure, automation, environments, and the processes that support applications.

Principles

Build with intention

Some principles guide the way I study technology and develop my projects.

Problem before technology

I try to understand the problem before choosing tools or architectures.

Incremental evolution

I prefer building a functional foundation and evolving the project as new problems and lessons emerge.

Objectivity

I seek simple, documented solutions that are coherent with the size and purpose of each project.

Education

Frequently asked questions

A little more about my education, interests, and journey.

Academic background

What are you studying?
I am an Information Systems student at UniBarretos. I started the course in 2025 and have been using side projects to complement my academic education with practical experience.
Do you have a technical qualification?
Yes. I completed the Technical Course in Systems Development at ETEC Coronel Raphael Brandão, which I attended between 2022 and 2024.
Why do you develop so many projects?
Because I use projects as a laboratory. Building something forces me to research, make decisions, deal with errors, and better understand the concepts I study.
Which areas of technology interest you the most?
I am mainly interested in software architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, data engineering, and application development.
What is your professional goal?
To build a solid career in technology, developing a consistent technical foundation and seeking to create professional and financial value in the long term.

Development

Which technologies do you use?
The technologies present in my studies and projects include PHP, Node.js, JavaScript, C#/.NET, Blazor, Astro, MySQL, MariaDB, Git, and Docker.
Do you consider yourself an expert in these technologies?
No. I am still in training, and I believe it is important to distinguish between knowledge gained through study, practical experience, and professional mastery. This website reflects that evolution.
Where can I follow your projects?
The public projects, experiments, and studies that I choose to make available can be followed through my GitHub profile.
Do you work only with web development?
Many of my current projects are related to web development, but my interests go beyond it and include architecture, infrastructure, data, automation, and software engineering.
Why do you document your projects?
Because documentation helps understand decisions, record problems, and track a project's evolution. It also turns development into a more organized source of learning.
Open source

Learning in public

Some of my studies and projects are developed openly, allowing others to follow decisions, experiments, problems, and evolution.

Practical projects

I use personal and academic projects as a laboratory to turn studied concepts into concrete applications.

Continuous learning

My education does not end with a specific technology. I am building a foundation that can keep pace with my professional growth.

Documented evolution

Whenever possible, I record decisions and development stages to understand not only the result, but also the path taken to reach it.
